Will you add the names of these Dokimons? :D
Sure :)
I can update the asset that includes the monsters, name, descriptions, and so on ^^
Wohoo! That's amazing! Thanks!
Hi again! When do you think you'll be able to do it?
Soon™
Hello again! I was wondering if it's okay if i use these with tilesets other than the dokimon tilesets. To be clear, I love those and i do plan on using them :3, i was just also considering maybe making a prequel and/or sequel to the idea i had and I happened to have other tilesets I thought might be useful for that idea.
Also, if I change my mind and decide to use Gamemaker Studio later, would I have to buy MonMae as well in order to commercialize it? I'm undecided about some things, but I thought I should ask while I was thinking about it.
Thank you!
Heyo~ Absolutely it's fine to use them with other tilesets!
You can use these in GameMaker studio as well, if you want to use MonMae, then you should buy it to use it, but you don't need to buy it just to commercialize the separate assets :)
Each of these asset packs come with their own commercial licenses! Hope that answers all your questions :D
Yes it does, thank you so much!
Thank you for your work! Awesome assets pack!
Do you have any other assets pack for the UI shown in some of your screenshot ? :D
Thank you so much for the kind words :) I do not have an asset pack for UI yet, however if you plan to make a game with MonMae, it's included in the engine.
Perhaps I should make UI sets for non-MonMae users however, it's a good idea! Currently, we only have the fonts for sale which are available on my profile. Please check those out if you are interested^^
I'll speak for myself, but probably some other could find it relevant tho: There are so many engines people are comfortable using that it make big sense of releasing asset sets non-linked to any specific engine. Still, for you, it probably makes more sense to keep everything in your MonMae engine as it make the process of making a pokemon-like game way easier on GameMaker :)
As much I could love using MonMae, I'm a Unity developer and don't want to spend time switching engine ^^'
But! If it's a big enough argument for you, count me as a customer for every MonMae-externalized asset packs you could release :p
I see! Yes I understand that very well^^ glad to hear I've accustomed such a loyal customer! :D
I'll go ahead and see what I can do to export more of the MonMae stuff to external itch packs, like UI. I'd of done it before if I'd known there was a demand for it :)
If you ever get the chance, we'd love to see your game on our discord if you're using Dokimon assets! Or, even just DM'd me ;) I'm quite curious, especially since you're using Unity to make it!
